The holidays are upon us, as are the wonderful days of family visits and parties. To bring the whole family together, we just love the idea of curling up with a great book like Thunder Cake, by Patricia Polacco. This is a wonderful story about a grandmother who helps her daughter overcome her fear of thunder by preparing and baking a “Thunder Cake.”

Join both grandmother and granddaughter as they hurry around the farm gathering the necessary ingredients to make this special dessert.
